The start of a brand new year. I stayed up 'til midnight but none of my family could be bothered, probably some competition that I was oblivious to, I can see it now "Who can be the most boring"... yes that's probably it. It wasn't very enjoyable staying up on my own, because there was nothing to do and then when the clock turned 12 nothing happened, so I was like... "bye 2005"... "hello 2006"... not very exciting as i'm sure you'll all agree, so I started doodling which was okay but nothing special. Then mum came in and said that I better think about going to sleep, so I thought about going to sleep but I didn't actually go to sleep, I just turned off the light and started listening to my mp3 player, despite the warnings from dad that if I fell asleep with it on I could strangle my self in the wires. So my start to 2006 was not as good as it could have been!
